Role Overview: As an Enterprise Solutions Architect, you will serve as a pivotal technical liaison among various stakeholders, including clients, account managers, technical sales teams, solutions architects, research and development engineers, and project managers. Your primary responsibility will be to gather requirements, design, and document comprehensive enterprise solutions tailored for content delivery in the broadcast and media sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the account management team to outline and document the scope of strategic systems utilizing Evertz's Content Delivery solutions.
- Develop intricate system designs accompanied by detailed documentation and functional specifications to facilitate the creation of final quotations and contract terms.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks by recognizing assumptions and gaps, working alongside engineering teams to mitigate these risks before project implementation.
- Engage with clients and internal teams to design and document demonstrations and proofs of concept (POCs) for Evertz's Content Delivery solutions.
- Act as a technical authority throughout the pre-sales phase of projects, ensuring clarity and precision in all communications.
- Travel as necessary to client locations to support project needs.
Qualifications:
- Educational background in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Broadcasting, or a related field.
- Practical experience in the broadcast, telecommunications, or electrical engineering sectors.
- Familiarity with various digital video and audio standards, including DVB, SMPTE 2022-6, SMPTE 2022-7, and SMPTE 2110.
- Understanding of digital video compression standards and codecs, such as MPEG and JPEG.
- Preferred knowledge of fundamental IP networking concepts, including unicast, multicast, routing, switching, WAN, LAN, and VLAN.
- Preferred familiarity with content delivery applications, including headends, over-the-top (OTT) services, and transport applications.
