Job Title: Tile Fitter

Manson Floor Covering Ltd is seeking a skilled Tile Fitter to join our team. As a Tile Fitter, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining tile surfaces in commercial and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including measuring and marking walls and floors.
  • Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and other materials to ensure a strong bond between tiles and surfaces.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power tools.
  • Align and straighten tiles to ensure a level and even surface.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles as needed.
  • Supervise and instruct apprentices in tile installation techniques.
  • Estimate costs and materials for tile installation projects.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in tile installation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials.
Work Environment:
  • Commercial and residential settings.
  • 35 hours per week.
  • Permanent position.
  • English language required.
