We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Analyst to join our Canadian Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will partner with Commercial and Finance colleagues to optimize and document Canadian business processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Optimize financial processes across Commercial functions to drive efficiencies.
- Ensure product costing information is accurate and any required changes are updated in a timely manner.
- Maintain internal controls and SOX compliance, including documentation and audit procedures.
- Drive financial reporting through partnering with cross-functional colleagues.
- Participate in ad hoc projects.
- Responsible for select supply chain accounting and reporting activities for inventory reserves and days on hand inventory analysis.
- Maintain and update formulary pricing schedule with provincial government.
- Provide oversight, including quarterly KPI analysis, issue escalation and resolution, for shared service partners managing Canada's Procure to Pay (P2P) and T&E processes.
- Finance support for sustainability accounting, including blue box filing requirements.
- Coordinate all relevant governmental survey requests.
- University Degree.
- Professional Accounting designation.
- High level of business maturity and professionalism.
- 3 - 5 years Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience.
- 3 - 5 years experience in Finance performing advanced analysis and management reporting.
- Solid understanding of finance fundamentals.
