Business Finance Analyst Job Description

The Business Finance Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the financial operations of NRB Modular Solutions. This position will be responsible for producing and analyzing financial information, creating and presenting reports to management, and providing insights to enable informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly financial statements and perform analysis on variances to forecast or budget.
  • Work closely with the Business Finance team and Operations to generate analysis and insight into key performance indicators, revenues, and cost drivers.
  • Prepare annual budgets and quarterly financial forecasts, as well as variance analysis.
  • Review and analyze AR aging and Accrued AR by Region.
  • Prepare break-even analysis by contract.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review AP and AR documents for accuracy and proper coding.
  • Support month-end activities, revenue, expense accruals, and costs allocations.

Requirements:

  • Relevant educational background in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
  • CPA (CA, CGA, CMA) designation or working towards completion.
  • At least 3 to 5 years' experience in financial accounting role.
  • Strong analytical skills, organizational and time-management skills, and ability to manage a fluctuating workload.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to make decisions and develop collaborative working relationships.
