About the Role

CMC Microsystems is seeking a highly skilled Legal Contracts Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in the effective lifecycle management of contracts on behalf of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Review and Evaluation: Review and evaluate the terms and conditions of various agreements and contracts, including software license agreements, professional service agreements, and third-party managed service agreements, to ensure compliance with legal requirements and meet the needs of CMC.
  • Contract Administration: Oversee all aspects of administering contracts and contract lifecycle, including obtaining signatures and tracking required renewals.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with various teams within CMC to ensure seamless contract management and administration.
  • Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Draft appropriate contract language within the required context and negotiate with customers, suppliers, and third-party vendors.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Effectively communicate at all levels of the organization with a customer-first approach, providing excellent customer service and support.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in the review, drafting, negotiation, and administration of commercial contracts.
  • Strong ability to interpret and understand various contract provisions and resolve or escalate issues as necessary.
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented with strong time-management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and conflicting demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working on complex contracts is an asset.
