Civil Designer Student, Water

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Designer Student to join our Water Infrastructure team at Hatch. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on complex projects, collaborate with diverse teams, and apply your academic learning in a real-world setting.
Key Responsibilities- Support project managers, project engineers, and designers in the preparation of design drawings and technical information for civil municipal projects.
- Assist in CAD design of municipal infrastructure, including electrical drawing development for wastewater and water treatment plants, sewer, watermains, and roads.
- Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks for municipal infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with other technicians and related disciplines to produce design deliverables.
- Compile design drawings and prepare design submissions and other technical documents.
- Assist senior engineers, surveyors, and designers as needed.
- Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering Technology degree co-op program at an accredited college.
- Strong CAD skills, with experience in AutoCAD/MicroStation required.
- Positive team attitude and approach, results-oriented, and ability to work independently.
