Landscaping Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Foreman/Woman to join our team at Alpha Better Landscaping Inc.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, and execution of landscaping projects, including the supervision of staff, management of materials and equipment, and ensuring the highest quality of work.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to meet project demands and deadlines.
- Organize and direct the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscape features.
- Plan and estimate labor and materials for projects, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Resolve work problems by providing technical advice and recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Maintain accurate work records and logs, including equipment maintenance and repair.
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- 3-4 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
- Canadian Nursery Landscape Association (CNLA) certification.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
The successful candidate will be required to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and humidity. They will also be required to lift heavy loads and work at heights.
