Job Title: Pharmacy Technical Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at Smoky Lake Pharmacy and Integrated Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the accuracy of prescription information
  • Enter client information into databases
  • Prepare medications for clients
  • Take body or limb measurements of patients
  • Bill third-party insurers
  • Compound oral solutions, ointments, and creams
  • Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records
Work Environment:

Our pharmacy is located in a rural area and is a pharmacy or drugstore. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can maintain attention to detail.

Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Health benefits: Health care plan
  • Work hours: 32 to 40 hours per week
  • Language: English
