Job Title: Building Superintendent

Lion's Gate Building Maintenance Ltd is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Building Superintendent to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Building Superintendent to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard and that the facilities are safe and secure.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of facilities, including cleaning, repairs, and maintenance of equipment and systems.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, including scheduling and assigning tasks.
  • Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and that facilities are safe and secure.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure that facilities are well-maintained.
  • Monitor and control maintenance budgets and ensure that costs are minimized.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that facilities are well-maintained and that maintenance needs are met.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and to work in a physically demanding environment.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work on site and will be expected to work in a physically demanding environment. The work will involve bending, crouching, and kneeling, and the candidate will be required to lift heavy loads.
