Parts Coordinator

At Boyd Autobody & Glass, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, the Parts Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of parts to our repair shops.
Key Responsibilities:- Order and Receive Parts: Work with vendors to order and receive all parts as indicated on the repair orders, confirming the quality, correctness, and quantity of parts received.
- Parts Distribution: Ensure timely parts distribution to the shop in accordance with the production schedule.
- Inventory Management: Label and track all parts by the R.O.# and store them with the vehicle and/or scheduled repairs.
- Vendor Management: Communicate all Parts Price Changes (also known as Parts Price Increases - PPI) to all required team members.
- Reporting and Reconciliation: Enter all parts invoices into the recommended Management Information System (MIS) and monitor performance of parts, materials, and sublet vendors.
- Financial Management: Ensure invoices and credit memos are posted and filed/scanned in a timely manner.
- Quality Control: Verify the accuracy and quality of parts received in a timely manner as per the production schedule and vehicle needs.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 1-3+ years of experience working with automotive parts (auto body parts is a bonus)
- Skills: Customer Service Oriented, strong organizational ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands, and prioritize tasks; ability to take initiative in problem-solving situations
- Certifications: I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification)
Frequently required to bend, crouch, reach, handle tools; lift in excess of 50 lbs. of materials.
