Art Studio Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Art School Manager to join our team at DSJ Dance Studio.
Job Summary:The Art School Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dance academy, including managing staff, planning and controlling budgets, and implementing policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Staff Management: Hire, train, and supervise a team of 3-4 staff members.
- Budgeting and Finance: Plan and control budgets and inventory, manage contracts for advertising and marketing strategies.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Operations: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Dance academy or school.
- Security and Safety: Basic security clearance.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
- Health Benefits: Dental plan and health care plan.
- Work Terms: Permanent position, 35 to 40 hours per week.
