The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and implementing policies and procedures for staff, planning and controlling budget and inventory, managing contracts for advertising or marketing strategies, hiring, training, and supervising staff, addressing customers' complaints or concerns, and planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Establish and implement policies and procedures for staff, including hiring, training, and supervising.
  • Financial Management: Plan and control budget and inventory, and manage contracts for advertising or marketing strategies.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, including managing staff and resources.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Dance academy or school.
  • Supervision: 3-4 people.
  • Security and Safety: Basic security clearance.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, attention to detail, and physically demanding environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
