Occupational Therapist II

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist II to join our Home and Community Care department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing rehabilitation services to clients with developmental disabilities in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Implement rehabilitation assessment, treatment, and interventions for clients with developmental disabilities
- Recommend specialized medical equipment and environmental modifications to support client needs
- Provide education to caregivers and referrals to community resources
- Work collaboratively with the Community Care Program Manager to develop and implement rehabilitation plans
- Graduate of a recognized Occupational Therapy program
- Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia
- Two years of experience in acute care, long-term care, or community settings
- Previous experience in providing services to clients with developmental disabilities
- Community experience and previous experience with assessment for specialized wheelchairs, seating systems, and technical aids
