About the Role:

The Business Analyst, Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis, is a key member of the Landmark team responsible for working closely with key business partners to develop accurate business plans and short-term financial forecasts for the Phosphate business. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills to support the Phosphate business senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop Accurate Financial Forecasts: Develop accurate short-term financial forecasts and the annual plan for the Phosphate business, taking into account market trends, customer needs, and business objectives.
  2. Business Analysis and Insights: Translate large amounts of data from various systems into meaningful analysis for leadership, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  3. Support Business Operations: Support Phosphate site finance with forecasting, budgeting, and special projects as needed, ensuring seamless business operations.
  4. Model Development and Maintenance: Maintain and enhance the short-term forecasting models, ensuring accuracy and relevance to business needs.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Develop strong relationships with key business partners, including the commercial, site finance, accounting, corporate planning, and investor relations teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  6. Ad-Hoc Analysis and Projects: Complete ad-hoc analysis, projects, and initiatives as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced business environment.

Requirements:

  1. Education: A university degree in accounting, finance, marketing, or commerce.
  2. Professional Designation: Professional designation (CPA, CBV, or CFA) or MBA.
  3. Work Experience: 5 - 8 years related and progressive work experience in a business or financial analysis role.
  4. Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, with strong skills in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Hyperion, Power Query, and Power BI would be an asset.
  5. Flexibility: Flexible to work extended hours to meet timelines.
