Special Projects Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Special Projects Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the success of special projects and activities at York University. This position requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who can provide administrative support and contribute to the achievement of project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for special projects and activities, including coordinating tasks, managing timelines, and ensuring project deliverables are met.
- Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, including researching and gathering information, and preparing reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with project team members to ensure effective communication and coordination of project activities.
- Contribute to the identification and resolution of project issues and concerns.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of project documentation, including records and reports.
Requirements:
- Enrolled as a York University student.
- Previous work experience may be considered.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to use research methods to identify and verify information, and to present data in a variety of document and display formats.
