Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Credit Analyst at BMO Financial Group. As a key member of our Commercial Lending team, you will be responsible for facilitating decision-making and analysis of credit information to support lending decisions and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Conduct thorough credit analysis and risk assessments to ensure sound lending decisions and minimize risk exposure.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of bank products, processes, and systems to effectively troubleshoot and resolve client issues.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of lending activities.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to provide expert advice and guidance to clients.
Requirements
  • Typically 5-7 years of relevant experience in commercial lending or a related field.
  • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency in credit analysis, risk management, and lending processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with clients to achieve business objectives.
