We are currently seeking an experienced Credit Risk Analyst to join our team at our London, Ontario branch. This is a full-time, in-office position with regular working hours from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough credit investigations and collections for a diverse range of customers
  • Communicate with customers to secure payment, resolve issues, and negotiate repayment agreements
  • Develop in-depth understanding of customers' businesses and create action plans to address financial challenges
  • Maintain and update customer profiles, including setting up new customers and updating credit limits
  • Process customer payments and ensure accurate accounting records
  • Collaborate with the Branch Controller and Corporate Credit Manager on ad-hoc requests

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of credit and collections principles, including the full business cycle (Order to Cash)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Assertive, organized, and capable of multitasking
  • Problem-solving skills with solid negotiation abilities
  • Positive attitude and adaptability
  • Understanding of credit insurance is an asset

Qualifications:

  • College or university degree in business or finance, or equivalent experience
  • Three to five years of experience in credit and collections
  • Knowledge of credit policy and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, and email
