Position Overview

Join our team at MacIntosh Landscaping & Trucking Limited as a dedicated Landscape Labourer. This role involves various outdoor tasks that contribute to the beautification and maintenance of landscapes.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a trades certificate or diploma in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role.
Work Environment
  • Primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions including wet, damp, and hot environments.
  • Work settings include landscape contracting and maintenance for commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the construction and enhancement of landscape features.
  • Perform weeding, pruning, and trimming of trees and plants.
  • Maintain lawns by cutting grass and collecting refuse.
  • Operate and care for landscape maintenance equipment.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
Certifications
  • First Aid Certificate is required.
Equipment Proficiency
  • Experience with tractor mowers and weed trimmers/edgers is preferred.
Transportation Requirements
  • Must have own transportation to reach job sites.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and engage in physically demanding work.
  • Must be attentive to detail and capable of walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
