Landscape Labourer Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Landscape Labourer to join our team at S&B Landscaping and Fencing Ltd. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, raking and collecting refuse, removing litter and garbage, and performing various other tasks related to lawn care and gardening.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, and applying fertilizers.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
  • Cut grass and perform other lawn care tasks to ensure a healthy and safe outdoor environment.
  • Rake and collect refuse, and remove litter and garbage to maintain a clean and tidy work site.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure their health and well-being.
Requirements:
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks.
  • Will to learn and train in landscape maintenance and gardening techniques.
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent position, working 35 to 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
