Landscape Labourer Job Description

S&B Landscaping and Fencing Ltd. is seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscape Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our landscaping crew, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to landscape construction, maintenance, and upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod, seeding, and planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
  • Cut grass and rake and collect refuse to keep the work site clean and tidy.
  • Remove litter and garbage, and cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care.
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability are key qualities we look for in our team members.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks.
Work Environment:

As a Landscape Labourer, you will be working outdoors in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
