About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team at ANYTIME PLUMBING & MECHANICAL. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to maintain the upkeep of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Safety and Security: Perform safety and security checks to ensure the well-being of our staff and visitors.
  • Supervision: Supervise other workers and provide guidance on tasks and procedures.
  • Physical Demands: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, and perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
  • Cleaning and Disinfecting: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Work Conditions: Work under pressure, handle repetitive tasks, and lift heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 hours per week.
