Position Overview:

The Payroll Administrator will report directly to the Senior Payroll Manager. This role is essential in managing payroll processing for employees located in both Canada and the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

Canada/United States Payroll Management

  • Oversee the execution of two payroll cycles for approximately 900 employees across Canada, ensuring thorough review and auditing of all payroll data for accuracy.
  • Address inquiries and manage payroll-related practices.
  • Collaborate with the US payroll team and Payroll Manager to collect and verify data for precision.
  • Facilitate payroll adjustments, retroactive payments, Records of Employment (ROEs), and any other payroll-related modifications.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in payroll processing.
  • Familiarity with human resources functions and a strong customer service orientation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to enter and review data efficiently.
  • Capability to manage sensitive and confidential information with a high degree of accuracy, independent judgment, and discretion.
  • Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality while handling HR records.
  • Experience with payroll taxation is preferred.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to respond clearly and concisely to inquiries.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
  • Strong work ethic and integrity essential for managing confidential information.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with an awareness of appropriate response times.
