Food Service Manager

Canada Inc is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality service and food safety standards are met.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
- Hire and manage food service staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth and improvement.
- Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries, ensuring seamless communication and efficient food preparation.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays, ensuring presentation and quality meet our high standards.
- Establish and maintain work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality control.
- Food service establishment with a fast-paced environment.
- Standing for extended periods, walking, and attention to detail required.
- English is the primary language of communication.
- Permanent position.
- 40 hours per week.
