About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer III to join our team at Bisha Hotel Toronto. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building systems, performing general repairs and maintenance work, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment and systems, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and fire safety systems.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations.
- Conduct daily inspections of hotel facilities to identify potential issues and take proactive measures to prevent equipment failures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new technologies.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience in maintenance or engineering, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; courses in engineering or maintenance preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights, as required.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
