Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Monitor departmental performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods.
- Plan for changes to schedules and policies, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

- Ensure transport compliance with regulations, including health and safety and environmental regulations.
- Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods, ensuring that all staff are aware of and adhere to these policies.
- Negotiate for services and preferential rates with suppliers and partners.
- Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, ensuring that all deliveries are made on time and that all customers are satisfied.
- Oversee the setting of transportation service rates and monitor revenue, ensuring that the department is operating profitably.
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a transportation or logistics role.
- Permanent employment.
- English language proficiency.
- 40 hours per week.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
