About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our team at Egis Canada. As a key member of our Process Engineering Group, you will play a pivotal role in the design, optimization, and management of intricate processes within the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise between clients and operations staff, equipment vendors, and third-party contractors in project planning and execution.
  • Conduct independent studies, operating data analyses, interpretations, and conclusions within the scope of various assigned projects.
  • Provide clear and concise communication and pro-active recommendations to clients.
  • Coordinate completion of Process Engineering tasks and deliverables with other engineering disciplines within Egis.
  • Manage Process engineering personnel and provide oversight and mentoring through the execution of multiple client projects.
Technical Capabilities
  • Provide competent and independent technical direction within the Process Engineering Group and to other departments.
  • Licensed and capable to take professional responsibility for authentication (stamping) of Process Engineering work packages and drawings.
  • Carry out and evaluate conceptual and detailed equipment/system design calculations, utilizing a variety of tools from spreadsheet-based to rigorous process simulation methods.
  • Perform system capacity and debottlenecking studies for existing upstream petroleum production, processing, and transportation facilities and pipelines.
