**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Save-On-Foods. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Receive and transcribe verbal prescriptions from practitioners
- Transfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmacies
- Ensure that prescriptions are complete and authentic
- Perform the final check of prepared prescriptions
- Perform all technical functions of dispensing prescriptions
- Support and maintain dispensary and front store (OTC) operations
- Provide excellent customer service
- Adhere to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies
- Observe and direct Pharmacy Assistants and Clerks in dispensary activities
**Requirements**
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Regulated Pharmacy Technician license
- Good standing with the College of Pharmacists of BC
- Pharmacy dispensary experience or Kroll computer experience an asset
