Role Overview:
The Relief Pharmacist will deliver pharmaceutical services and assistance to customers, healthcare professionals, and other retail pharmacies, working shifts as scheduled by the Relief Coordinator. This role is essential in achieving excellence in patient-centered care, customer service, operational efficiency, and clinical services. You will actively contribute to a positive and effective workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Emphasis on clinical services, including disease management, medication reviews, and health risk assessments.
- Prioritize prescription safety by delegating technical tasks to Pharmacy Assistants when available.
- Develop and implement care plans, ensuring proper follow-up and documentation.
- Mentor pharmacy students and Pharmacy Assistants as applicable.
- Gather pertinent patient, medication, and disease information.
- Identify actual and potential drug-related issues.
- Monitor patient adherence to medication regimens.
- Provide counseling for new therapies, ensuring patients understand their treatment.
- Customize counseling to address individual patient needs, such as literacy and privacy concerns.
- Exceed customer expectations through operational efficiencies.
- Promptly and professionally acknowledge customers.
- Exhibit warmth, empathy, and compassion in customer interactions.
- Deliver exceptional customer service consistently.
- Understand and communicate all PROfile offerings, ensuring customers receive programs that align with their health needs, including:

Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently to meet deadlines.
- A collaborative team player in a dynamic environment.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Must hold a valid Pharmacist license in the relevant province.
- Injection Certification is required.
- Prior experience in a retail or retail pharmacy setting is preferred.
