Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Accountant - Assurance to join our team. As a key member of our assurance team, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing financial statements and working papers for audit engagements
- Preparing financial statements and working papers for review and compilation engagements
- Preparing corporate and personal income tax returns
Requirements
- Experience in a public accounting practice with 1-3 years' experience in an intermediate/senior role
- Successful completion of CFE and/or CPA designation
- Thorough understanding of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) and Canadian Auditing Standards (CAS)
- Good understanding of and experience with Canadian income taxation
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
