Job Summary

The Store Director will be responsible for leading a high-performing team to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain a visually appealing store environment. This individual will be a strategic business partner, working closely with the district manager to achieve business objectives and develop a talent bench strength.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  • Lead a high-performing team to achieve sales goals, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Collaborate with the district manager to develop and implement business strategies, manage talent, and drive sales growth.
  • Manage daily operational tasks, including selling and service expectations, operations, payroll, human resources, and loss prevention.
  • Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies to drive sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, including customer service training and feedback.
  • Manage and maintain a positive work environment, including employee relations, training, and development.
  • Collaborate with the district manager to develop and implement talent management strategies, including recruitment, selection, and development.
  • Manage and maintain a visually appealing store environment, including visual merchandising, store maintenance, and housekeeping.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction, including sales training and feedback.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and retention, including employee recognition and rewards.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of previous Store Manager experience in a luxury retail service environment.
  • Current knowledge of fashion trends and competition in the marketplace.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Experience using retail systems (labor management, inventory systems, sales reporting).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team.
  • Mobility to maneuver the sales floor and stock room to provide and support customer service.
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry up to five pounds and at times lift and carry product/cartons up to fifty pounds to process product shipment/transfers.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high retail traffic and sales days.
