About the Role

The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada) is seeking a Senior Business Application Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Global Anti-Money Laundering (GAML) group, you will be responsible for conducting investigations and in-depth data analysis in relation to application issues and inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as Team Lead and assist Manager in leading a successful Application Support team within GAML.
  • Provide advanced analysis and/or specialized reporting to support business partners, functional areas, or centres of expertise.
  • Execute on more complex and/or non-standard requests such as audits and regulatory exams.
  • Provide guidance and assist team in incident management while considering business risks and impacts.
  • Flexible and resilience to execute in a high impact/fast paced environment.

Requirements

  • Seven or more years of relevant experience.
  • Skilled in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques.
  • High proficiency in SQL queries and MS Excel.
  • Strong ownership mentality and can-do attitude.
  • Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills accompanied by strong business acumen with ability to engage senior audiences.
  • Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze, research, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
