Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at S COFFEE 191 KING W. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our cafeteria, coffee shop, and restaurant settings.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accurate ordering and inventory management.
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth and improvement.
- Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Establish and manage work schedules to ensure optimal staffing levels and efficient operations.
- College or CEGEP education.
- 2-3 years of experience in a food service or related industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a strong team player mentality.
- Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods.
