As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rail car moving services. This includes coordinating activities of workers, maintaining a safe working environment, and training employees on procedures and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring all employees understand and follow safety rules.
  • Assume responsibility for site safety leader duties as required.
  • Train employees on procedures and operations.
  • Identify and develop employees for leadership roles.
  • Motivate and maintain high morale among employees.
  • Provide excellent customer service and meet customer goals.
  • Manage operations to ensure all aspects of the contract are met.
  • Maintain knowledge of operating procedures, safety rules, and locomotive operations.
  • Manage payroll, fuel costs, and other expenses effectively.
  • Set up work schedules and perform administrative duties.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent highly preferred.
  • 3+ years of rail and process operations experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience highly preferred.
  • Proficient with computers, MS Word, Excel, and email.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to assess multiple tasks and develop a plan to complete them in a timely manner.
