Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team at Héroux-Devtek as a Technician Specialist. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support and services to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze technical data to produce high-precision mechanical parts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Develop and implement work instructions for manufacturing complex parts, aligning with cost and productivity objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical issues and improve manufacturing processes, driving efficiency and quality improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement solutions, contributing to the company's continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate the launch of new machining and assembly programs, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to production.
  • Ensure the reliability and effectiveness of work procedures, maintaining a high level of quality and precision.
  • Recommend corrective actions when targets are not met, providing data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
  • Respond to operational emergencies, demonstrating a proactive and solution-focused approach.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in manufacturing, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Knowledge of aerospace technical standards and regulations.
  • Familiarity with geometric tolerancing and its application in manufacturing.
  • Experience working with materials such as aluminum, steel, and titanium.
  • Proficiency in Catia V5 and Microsoft Office, with a strong understanding of CAD design and data management.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure, demonstrating initiative, judgment, and a results-driven approach.
