Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Community Support Specialist to join our team at Strive Living Society. As a Community Support Specialist, you will provide support to individuals at our Pinetree Day Program in Coquitlam, helping them to achieve their goals and live independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to individuals with developmental, physical disabilities, mental health, and behavioral needs
  • Create meaningful routines and activities to promote independence and community integration
  • Implement personal protocols, schedules, and activities to meet individual needs
  • Document daily activities and progress
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements
  • Class 4 or 5 BC Driver's License preferred and clean driver's abstract
  • Minimum of 1-year experience working with individuals with developmental, physical disabilities, mental health, and behavioral needs
  • Criminal Record Check
  • Negative TB test
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Food Safe Certificate
