Role Overview

Exchange Bank of Canada is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Processing Specialist. This position is responsible for maintaining customer inventory by performing record center tasks, including retrievals, incoming, destructions, internal moves, permanent withdrawals, and special projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare CAD dollar packages for courier and verify courier redeposits.
  • Adjust CAD dollar inventory accordingly and verify CAD cash receiving from clients.
  • Daily balancing of CAD cash and foreign currency inventory.
  • Verify incoming foreign currencies and consolidate them to sell to wholesale traders and/or replenish inventory.
  • Ship foreign currencies via FedEx to clients and ensure outgoing shipments are accurate.
  • Daily inventory balancing of all major foreign currencies and biweekly for all minor foreign currencies.
  • Record armored shipments for reporting and maintain accurate counts of all foreign banknotes in inventory.
  • Contract all obsolete banknotes and inform the Operations department of any modification or adjustment made to an order in a timely fashion.
  • Fulfill foreign currency orders on ATM dispenser.
Requirements
  • Holds or is obtaining a related degree.
  • 2 years of related experience.
