Job Summary
American Iron & Metal is seeking a skilled Excavator Operator and Loader to join our team at our Port of Quebec location. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks and boats, operating heavy equipment, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate mechanical excavators and loaders to load and unload trucks and boats
- Evaluate the quality of materials and perform daily inspections
- Sort and stack materials, and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work collaboratively with the foreman and other team members to achieve operational goals
Requirements
- DEP in driving construction equipment (an asset)
- Minimum one year experience in a similar role
- Punctuality, politeness, and patience
- Conscientious about equipment and safety
- Good ability to concentrate and work independently
Additional Information
