Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all outgoing shipments are properly packaged to prevent damage during transit.
  • Coordinate the shipping of products to registered establishments, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Implement and maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures for inventory management and accurately complete all required documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the warehouse, including ensuring carriers are properly sanitized.
  • Plan and oversee daily warehouse activities to ensure efficient operations and timely fulfillment of orders.
  • Provide support and guidance to team members, acting as a backup for supervisors when needed.
  • Promote a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping and receiving operations within a food processing or manufacturing setting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of food safety regulations, industry best practices, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.
  • Prior supervisory experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid forklift license.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and basic data entry.
