Job Title: Residential Construction Supervisor

Reno Installation Expert Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Residential Construction Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise construction workers and projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines.
  • Oversee apprenticeship training and ensure workers have the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Recruit and hire workers, and conduct related staffing actions.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure workers are equipped with the necessary skills.
  • Estimate costs and materials, and ensure budget adherence.
  • Set up equipment and ensure it is properly maintained.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, and recommend personnel actions as needed.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules, and read blueprints and drawings to ensure accuracy.
  • Requisition materials and supplies, and order equipment and materials as needed.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction or a related field.
  • Ability to work outdoors and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Reliability and dependability.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a construction environment, with regular exposure to outdoor conditions. The work setting will be primarily on construction sites, with occasional work in an office environment.

Language:

The primary language of work is English or French.Hours of Work:

The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime required.
