Job Title: Residential Construction Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Construction Supervisor to join our team at Reno Installation Expert Inc.

Job Summary:

The Residential Construction Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the construction process of residential projects from start to finish. This includes supervising workers, coordinating activities, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of carpenters, cabinetmakers, apprentices, trades helpers, and labourers.
  • Ensure that all construction projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure that projects are completed efficiently.
  • Oversee the training of apprentices and ensure that they are meeting the required standards.
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions.
  • Estimate costs and materials and ensure that they are within budget.
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Recommend personnel actions and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Read blueprints and drawings and requisition materials and supplies.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
Work Environment:

The work environment is outdoors and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Language:

English or French.

Hours of Work:

40 hours per week.
