Job Title: Library Service Representative

Join the City of Windsor team as a Library Service Representative and contribute to the delivery of exceptional public library services.

About the Role:

This is a temporary full-time position that requires a team player with excellent customer service skills. As a Library Service Representative, you will be responsible for maintaining the daily operation of the library, assisting customers with reference and readers' advisory, circulation functions, and programming. You will also be required to deliver programs for all ages, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and perform other related duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Graduate from a three-year university program or Ontario Ministry of Education equivalency
  • Over six months of experience in a customer service environment
  • Available to work on weekends
  • Effective interpersonal, conflict resolution, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work within a team environment and be flexible in the acceptance of assignments and change of tasks
