About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Capital Account Manager to join our GTM Financial Services Team in NoAM. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a book of retail customers and supporting the growth and operations of Lightspeed customers through the offering of our Financial services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively engage with existing customers to promote our financial services offering and provide exceptional levels of service.
  • Use effective sales techniques to position and drive awareness on Lightspeed Capital for merchants and build trusted advisor relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize the growth of your book of business.
  • Achieve sales targets by providing exceptional advice and service to each merchant and coordinating with the Regional leader for Account Management.
  • Employ business development and relationship management techniques to assist in meeting or exceeding established sales targets for the territory.
  • Provide regular feedback and be the voice of the merchant to business leaders.
Requirements
  • Sales experience, preferably selling a financial service product, with a track record of high performance for several years running.
  • Understanding of solution-based consultative sales in a SaaS environment.
  • Ability to use technology to manage and organize pipeline.
  • Committed to a culture of positivity and high performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional poise and confidence while communicating with executives.
  • Value feedback and thrive on constant improvement and learning.
  • Strong work ethic and self-driven desire to succeed.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage and build solid partnerships both internally and externally.
