Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Culinary Specialist to join our dynamic kitchen team at Il Forno Fusion Canmore. This role requires a passion for food and a commitment to excellence in meal preparation.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced restaurant setting, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess food portion sizes and associated costs
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual dishes
  • Accommodate customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions
  • Prepare specialized meals as directed by nutritionists or chefs
  • Conduct inspections of kitchen and food service areas
  • Train kitchen staff in food preparation and safety protocols
  • Manage inventory and order necessary supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen personnel and assist with their development
  • Maintain accurate records of food and supply inventory
  • Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and work areas
Culinary Expertise

Employment Details
