Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Warehouseperson to join our team at Nova Scotia Ltd. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload products and materials from trucks, pallets, and shelves
  • Move products and materials to designated areas using manual or powered equipment
  • Ship orders and prepare packages for delivery
  • Pick orders and stock products in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Weigh materials and goods accurately and make labels as needed
  • Wrap and pack goods for shipping
  • Pack and unpack goods in a safe and efficient manner
Work Environment

Our warehouse is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, tight deadlines, and a focus on efficiency. You will be working in a team environment with minimal supervision, and you will be expected to work independently and make decisions quickly.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (over 45 kg/100 lbs)
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Reliability and dependability
  • Team player with a positive attitude
