Warehouse Supervisor Job Description

Border City Storage Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, as well as maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure seamless warehouse operations
  • Prepare and submit reports on inventory levels, shipments, and other key metrics
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to ensure equipment is in good working order
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality
  • Train workers in duties and policies to ensure a high level of job satisfaction and performance
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate tracking and reporting
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment

Working Conditions:

  • Permanent position
  • English language required
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
