We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Statewide Float Nurse. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing organization, providing exceptional care to patients and their families across multiple locations in Wisconsin.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessments, plan of care development, and implementation, in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and professional nursing standards.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in on-call duties and attend interdisciplinary group meetings to ensure continuity of care.
- Supervise and delegate responsibilities to ancillary personnel as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and professional development.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state(s) of practice.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.
- One to two years of recent acute care experience in an institutional setting, and one to two years of recent experience in home care preferred.
- Ability to pass DHS background study.
- Valid State Driver's License, automobile in good working order, automobile insurance in accordance with state and organizational requirements, and an acceptable driving record required.
