About the Role:

beBee Professionals is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Festival Coordinator to join our team in Montreal. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and execution of our annual festival.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Festival Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive festival plan, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding expectations.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with vendors, sponsors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of services and products.
  • Financial Management: Manage the festival budget, ensuring all expenses are within allocated limits and making adjustments as necessary.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Develop and execute promotional campaigns to attract attendees and promote the festival.
  • Logistics and Operations: Oversee the setup and breakdown of the festival, ensuring all necessary arrangements are made.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure all safety and security protocols are followed, maintaining a secure and enjoyable environment for attendees.
  • Volunteer and Staff Management: Manage volunteers and staff, providing guidance and support to ensure successful festival execution.
  • Event Management: Ensure all activities are running smoothly, addressing any issues promptly and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in event management, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in event planning and management.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Software Knowledge: Knowledge of event planning software.
