Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, pots, pans, trays, and utensils based on established procedures and equipment.
- Maintain the dish and kitchen area, ensuring equipment is clean, in working condition, and complies with safety standards.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
- Remove trash and place it in designated containers, and steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
- Assist in loading, unloading, and transferring supplies, products, and equipment between storage and work areas.
About the Role:
- Valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent is required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Previous dishwashing experience is preferred but not required.
- Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines is an asset.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
