About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Kabayan Foodmart Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordination and Communication
    • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
  • Inventory Management
    • Ensure accurate and efficient inventory management, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods
    • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and manage a team of 3-4 storekeepers and parts clerks
    • Provide guidance and training to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Operational Logistics
    • Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods
    • Establish and maintain efficient work schedules and procedures to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Security and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and policies
    • Conduct regular safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards
  • Computer and Technology
    • Proficient in MS Windows and other relevant software applications
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and handling heavy loads
    • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a variety of physical environments
  • Personal Suitability
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train
  • 3-4 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Working Conditions
  • 40 hours per week
  • Permanent position
  • English language required
