The Facilities Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of the property. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
Qualifications- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role
Work will be conducted in various conditions, including:
- All weather conditions
- Hotel, motel, resort settings
- Utilize industrial vacuum cleaners to eliminate dirt, debris, and refuse.
- Clean windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
- Perform minor adjustments and repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, while coordinating with tradespersons for major repairs.
- Engage contractors for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Conduct minor appliance repairs.
- Execute safety and security inspections.
- Carry out routine maintenance duties, including painting and drywall repairs.
- Water and care for plants, lawns, and gardens.
- Sanitize bathrooms and fixtures.
- Clear snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
This position requires:
